.__Appearance__.
Overall Appearance: Petite with a strong bone structure, A heart shaped face, with gem toned eyes of a soft ameythest, thick sooty lashes that lend to the exotic beauty of the young woman. Her skin is a flawless dusky tone, yet pale also, hinting at her lack of sunlight, her nose is aquain, her lips full and rose like, her smile seems to light up her face when she chooses to use it. Her brows are delicate, and arched loaning her the appearance of someone clearly amused about something, even when she has not spoken of such.

Aria wears her hair long, it is a deep blood red, the intense color of a fresh drop of blood. It sometimes curls around her face, and other times falls stright around her pending on how she decides to wear it for the day. Her body is slender but there is a hidden strength beneath the dusky skin, she is well toned,though not quiet cut, in figure. Well curved, Aria has long legs, and she is concidered quiet beautiful, it is an eerie and exotic beauty, but a beauty none the less.

Dressed in simple garb, almost gypsy like, with large golden ear-rings, she wears a ring on each finger of her right hand, a simple choker around her neck, and several anklets when not out in the city. She dress's like a socialite, usually in the best fashions, or simple jeans and a tee shirt. When at home she dress's like a gypsy, in colorfully bright skirts, and a off the shoulder blouse, usually there is a hair kerchief over her brilliant locks.

Another unusual feature of Ariea's is the slim vertical line between her eyes, this is actually her third eye which opens when she is using some of her abilities, Ari tends keep it hidden with just a dab of make-up, of a scarf around her forhead.

Personality: Quiet but intelligent, she tends to take note of every situation. She is both friendly to others and charming when allowed to be. Aria, knows Gotham like no one else, and she's more than happy to share this knowledge, as Master of the City she is firm and resourceful, with a knack for knowing people, there is something sweet about her, Aria can be kind, but is also sometimes spiteful and catty, she is careful, and trys to avoid un-needed risks, when all other avenues are exsausted Aria, will respond with force, she was a spitefire in youth and that has certainly only grown stronger with age.

Very Intelligent: One doesn't live as long as she has and not develop a keen knowledge of the world around her, and things. Skilled at figuring things and people out.
Filthy Rich: Ariea is one of the first Arkham's to have come to Gotham, she oversaw the building of Arkham Asylum, and may very well be one of its best kept secrets, she has money in numerous indeavors and she has always backed the Wayne Family up, in all things, thinking that Master Wayne, was a visionary. She is not quiet the billionare that Bruce Wayne is but she's a close second.
Devoted: While she might not always be a good person, she is devoted to Gotham and would never do anything to see it harmed or hurt. Her loyalty once given is unwavering.
Master of the City: Aria is the vampire master of the City, she is the head that the undead answer to as well as the were packs in the area. Gotham has been her city as long as anyone can remember, she has no desire to leave or seek out another. This is unknown in most circles.
Weaknesses: (list or paragraph form)
Sunlight: While Sunlight will hurt her badly if she is exposed to it too long, she can go out in it, she is very sluggish and sleepy in the day light hours, her brain works quick its just her body desires to be sleeping and she is not quiet as extrodinarily fast as she normally is. If in direct sunlight, she will start to experience levels of sunburning, that go right up the chart until its possiable she is charred, it won't kill her but she will need days to heal and recoup. She can not cure her sun damage with her Obeah.

Stake Through The Heart: A stake through the heart will kill her. This will cause her body to harden like marble and become marble. The only way to waken her from this state, is to completely coat her in blood. Which will slowly bring her back, but she will be very,very weak after that.

Decapatation: Yep, if you take its head, its pretty much dead, this will make her dust. It is how she can truely be killed.

Headaches: She experiences mind numbing headaches, from her powers from time to time, when she is under the effects of her headaches, she is less thoughtful, and more prone to her temper.

Stubborness If she thinks the moon is blue, she will debate that point until the cows come home, or until the heaven fall, Once she has her mind set on something she isn't soon to change it.

Blood: Ariea has to feed on blood, otherwise her abilities simply do not work, she grows weak and letharigic, and she has to have her underlings do all the work, Aira, has never been one to deny her feeding, she perfers the Mob, and Corrupt Police, since they are lesser beings in her eyes.

Nightmares: Rare as they are, even vampires have nightmares, concidering all the years, that she has been alive, it is to be expected. When under the effect of a nightmare, the next day she is more distracted and farther away than normal.

Holy Places: Aeria must be invited into holy places for them to not effect her. Otherwise she can not cross the thresh-hold of such a place.

Gypsy: Most people frown on Gypsy's and to this end, when it's known she comes from such people there have been great prejudice in the past.

Panacea: This is her gift as a vampire, she can heal with a touch this causes her third eye to open, and glow golden, each use of this ability causes her to expend energy, and life force, which means she needs to feed after using it. She may also errect a mind block in a person of her choice, she can remove derangements with a touch, cause pain to be felt as pleasure,cause another vampire's blood to sour, and them to start sweating it from there pours, Regeneration is also a possiability, though when she does this her third eye glows so brightly that she could blind a person, Ariea doesn't like using this ability, and its whispered that the next step to her Panacea is Ressurection, she has not achieved this level of understanding, yet.

Her Regeneration of a person forces her to enter a slumber that she does not wake for a full 24 hours. She also awake starving, and must hunt.

Auspex This gives her heightend senses, she can hear a pin drop, or smell something strongly, her sight is improved and her eyes glow. She may also precieve Aura's, She can object read an item by touch to learn its history, and a bit about its former owner, this ability takes time--alot of time, to get indept information from it. Telepathy: As normal telepathy, she can speak with other's minds, but not control them, she may link up to eight people with this ability which works like having more than one person on the line.Precognition, she can only use this ability for Gotham, not anywhere else in the world, but it has been helpful in knowing things, like numbers for the lotto to reward a good minon, or what number will be calling at the casino, she has not used it for herself in many years. Some of these abilities also cost an expendature in her energies, her object read isn't completely controlled either she may wind up object reading something she doesn't want to, consiquently her precognition may also activiate with her nightmares, giving her a hellish vision of some coming tragedy.

Sweet Whispers: This is her vampiric ability to call animals and get them to do her bidding. Any animal she makes eye contact with can be spoken to and she can communicate with it, this take an expenditure of her will. She can call animals to her, the type varies, as per what she wishes to call, she can at a risk to herself possess a animal, allowing herself to fall into a deep slumber, while she goes where her little friend does. Due to this ability rather than be feared by animals they are attracted to her.

.__History__.
Personal History:
Born to a family of traveling Gypsy from a little known area called Arkham that had long been destroyed, Ariea was born to a lovely young fortune teller, and her caravan leader husband. They were thrilled with there little girl, who already had six little brothers, making her the little princess of there family. She was the last child to be born...and would be the last of Romero and Starr's children.

From an early age she had a way with animal's they trusted her, liked her and were drawn to her when she sat outside to work, on various things, but the little girls mind was always at work at something new to make this or that better in the caravan, she was learning from the Wise woman, how to be a replacement for her, as her mother while gifted with the cards, she was not material to be the next keeper of lore and legend. This left Ariea with an exalted title to inherit, both as the daughter of the caravan owner and the next wise woman of the people.

Ariea traveled widely with her family, she learned the traditions of her people, the language, and the ways of healing and tending to the sick, this was her duty, this was as it was to be. She was expected she knew to take a husband, many of the dashing young men, vied for her attention, and wanted her to chose them as her future husband, something of this sat wrong with her, and she went off alone to quietly meditate it, while she was doing so, she recieved a vision, a crystal clear one, that concerned her greatly, within it she was as old as the trees, but as beautiful as the summer, she was alone, beneath a weeping willow, playing her fiddle, but she had no family of her own, instead there were animals, and she she saw wonders that were not yet thought of, moving in paved streets not even cobblestone, she came back to herself and understood that she would not be wed, that she was to chose no one, that her life for the time was to be solitary.

This disappointed many a brash youth, but the calming effects of a large black bear named Bruno convinced those discouraged youths to not press anything, least the gypsy princess, friend, make a point of them.

Life went well for the next six years, but it was that sixth year that she seemed to have lost everything, the caravan was attacked by highway men, and all the men slaughtered, the children were taken and the woman, were done worse to, leaving those that survived shattered and weeping, this was no ordinary attack, it had been the efforts of the local Master of the City, who hated all gypsies, and set his men to do them in, and it might have worked had, there not been a handful out, washing clothing in a lake nearby, and the commotion sent them to hide. She had been sickend, by what had been done, and after talking to the animals, of the city she understood what had happened, it was something that could not go unavenged, she had lost her gentle mother, her charming father, and all but one of her brother's in the attack, she sought out the Master, determined to see him dead.

This worked almost to well for he'd layed a plan to trap, the ruby haired girl who spoke with animals, so unlike a normal gypsy, a spirit born of fire, she was. He was captivated, and she was repulsed. He offered her immortality and she spat in his face, he flew into a rage, that not even her abilities would calm, and a crashing blow nearly killed her, sending her reeling to the floor of his expensive home, life blood leaking from the wound his claws had made.

Shocked and dismayed by what he had done, he made a fatal mistake, and gave her immortality, weaking himself conciderably, to bring her back. He had just soothed her to sleep and did not sense the form that had followed its nose to finally find it's mistress, Bruno, had knocked the way a Great Black Bear did, his paw went through the door, and he mauled the vampire, the vampire would have done him in had Bruno not gotten the drop on him, and managed to wrench his head from his shoulders, dropping him, and causing him to dust like any vampire would under such an attack, not badly wounded but badly worried, Bruno dragged his mommy, back to what was left of her clan.

She debated all night, over what was best to be done, weither to reveal her secret or keep it to herself, weither she should seek out furthur retribution, or allow bygone to bygone. Ariea, decided to burn the town to the ground, in payment for what had been done to her people, she took them from that place, and continued on, they would find a place to call home eventually, though that would be long in coming, and many many years, she watched generations of her family born and die, and she never felt the flicker of desire for another, to take a husband, she longed for children all woman did at one point she was certain, but her clan was her family. Once it became apparent that she grew no older, that her body did not sag, that gray did not touch her hair, the other were told of what she was and sworn to secrecy. Anyone, who married into her family, was sworn to keep there Gypsy Queen's secrets.

Finally when Gotham was born, she felt a calling deep in her soul, perhaps from the newling city itself, that it would be her home, that it was where she was to be. Again she visioned, and this time it was of skyscrapers and placed so beautiful that only a visonary could have seen it. She liked what she saw,so she settled, her family did not, some stayed to aid in the building of the city, and other's moved furthur on, Airea allowed them to go, always welcome within her city.

Her abilities to call animals incereased conciderable, and she, had other abilities gained from her vampirism, her powers were conciderable, and soon she had become the Master of the City, of Gotham, it was not a prestigious rule, outside of the supernatural's but it was a start.

She set about making Gotham worth living quietly and from the shadows, it was a task indeed, she did not often oppose the villian of the city, or the hero's only those that got in her way, of handing out justice to those that she felt deserved it and were of other callings. Vampires and Werecreatures mostly.

One of her greatest accomplishments was having Arkham Asylum built, no one would understand the hidden joke there, that beneath Arkham would lay, her Asylum. She did not mind those of questionable sanity being there, nor super villians, it made life very interesting for one such as her.

When the Batman burst onto the scene, she became amused by his antics, but soon that amusement turned to something similar to scorn, the man was ruining her revenue, she own many properties, and with his vigilanting he had destroyed expensive things that were her's. While she doesn't hate Batman she very much dislikes his method of operations.

For many years she watched from the shadows of Gotham, ever its vigilant defender and protector even from itself if needed. In recent years she's become more active as a socialite, and has attended many gathering and social events, lavishing money on projects she deems worth while, and it was known that many places in the City bore the Arkham name because of her family 's generosity. Namely her own.

Night lay over Gotham like a dark, beckoning shroud,but it was not merely the darkness that kept people in side there homes in Gotham, even the 24 hour places were not open there advertised times, something terriable had touched Gotham, something had destroyed the peace of her City. Terror had spread through the streets like a virus, causing people to look at each other differently, like they may each be the cause of the death and darkness that had run its chilled fingers along each person's spine.

The Remember me note, left with the Mayor's daughter had almost un-nerved her. There was something to that something that was asking the City to recall it, and who better for such a case than a woman who had always been there. Yet, she had found nothing that would tell her what had occured, nothing that spoke of who this killer was, who ever it was , was quiet good, she looked to her own kind within the city, as they said the bodies were drained of blood, but there were no marks, on the bodies, some were simply never found, and the nearest pack of wolves and cats, were innocent of any wrong doing, which left only one possiability in her mind, something new--had come and did not know what city it was messing with.

She moved like a phantom through the city streets, looking at the glow of the lamplight, and allowed her keener senses to kick in, no there was little out tonight even the bat, was not lurking in his roof top locales. The police were out however, and she wondered how long before they placed a curfew on the city.

She brushed a hand through her dark red hair, and tapped her long nails to her lips. What could be done, who could be contacted, if it was true Jack the Ripper was the cause, shouldn't he be casing females, in his quest to find the perfect woman ? She didn't know, but she wasn't going to stand in one place to find out. The Ripper had his own issues back in England, and had almost been caught, that was before he became what ever it was, truely evil men became, and Ariea was almost certain that if he was here, it would only be a matter of time before something turned up, to tell her so. Either a death, a loss of a loved one, or...the Ripper himself.

A soft jingle of bells from her anklet was the only proof that she was even there to begin with, before the red-head had disappeared into the shadows as quickly as she had come.

There was still much to learn...before actions could be taken, and soon all the players would show there hands, she hoped to be holding at least three aces, when that time came, for now she'd settle on watching for the players to make there bets.
